Android

I’ve been reading some stuff about the G1 phone because I wanted to buy an Iphone and I can’t because I don’t have a SSN…besides, it’s been sometime since I’m kind of pissed off by Apple, with all their nineteenth century business model disguised as trendy stuff. They do built great things but…why all this obsolete protection?

We’ve been doing some human factors for a project at the JPD, and I can’t escape the feeling that regarding what you can get out of normal people, it’s only  opinions. Better or worst opinions, maybe, but just opinions.

-”I think that…”

“With all do respect, sir, why should I care of what you think? I think something different, and for sure this other guy back there too”.

On the other side, if you build something based on your intuition and test it, you can have a huge data of user feedback…but you’ll only know what they think of what you did, not if that’s was the better answer to their needs. In a way, demand follows supply.

And the android. Why it sounds better? In a way, it’s letting people do your work. Then your job as a specialist will then be just two things:

1-Create the basic infrastructure for collaboration.

2-Build on what people is doing.
